Playground Libraries
(Poems on the MRT 2025)

Poems On The MRT is an initiative by the National Arts Council, in partnership with SMRT Trains and Stellar Ace. I've worked with Sing Lit Station to produce 4 different illustrations inspired by playgrounds on Singapore, alongside excerpts of Singapore poetry throughout SMRT's train network.

This series transforms familiar local playgrounds in Singapore into whimsical libraries, where books rest beside slides and stories unfold across the playground. Blending the nostalgia of childhood play with the quiet wonder of reading, the illustrations invite both children and adults to rediscover the simple delight of getting lost in a book, a reminder that imagination never truly outgrows its playground.​
